Each piece reflects the moment where liquid meets surface — concentric rings expanding outward, forming both structure and ornament, further enhanced by a unique ripple effect on the base of the glass.
Comprising five distinct forms — red wine, white wine, coupe, lowball and highball — the collection brings together a versatile selection of wine and cocktail glasses. Splash offers a tactile and visual rhythm that elevates everyday rituals into a more immersive, sensorial experience.
Fluid Form Meets Sculptural Design
“Everywhere I go I see pattern. In the brick buildings of London, in the knit of the jumper I’m wearing, even in the branches of the trees.
Designing an elevated series of wine glasses, I began to look at the patterns created in water, the waves, the splashes and then of course the ripples. The concentric rings that occur when the last drop of wine is poured, when a raindrop hits a puddle and a series of concentric rings emanate from the centre - in fact the perfect structural and decorative device for a wine glass.
Not just a celebration of the water, the cocktails and the wine that will inhabit the glassware, but also an acknowledgement of the liquid state of glass during the manufacturing process where the molten glass flows, pours and ripples in a way that is reflected in the transition from stem to base.”
