The NUDE Mars collection, designed by Pentagon Design, is an homage to the fourth planet from the sun and its two moons. Three spherical vases draw their palette directly from the Martian landscape: the deep orange of its iron-rich soil and the steel blue of its sky — colours that have long captivated human imagination. Otherworldly in inspiration, quietly beautiful in execution: objects that bring a sense of the cosmos into any living space.

Pentagon Design

Pentagon Design was founded in Helsinki in 1996 by Arni Aromaa and Sauli Suomela, while the two were still completing their Master's degrees in Industrial Design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki. Today the studio numbers fifteen, bringing together industrial, graphic, and interior designers alongside engineers and economists. Their work spans an intentionally wide range, from packaging to library interiors, always shaped by a design education rooted in Bauhaus principles of restraint and rigour. As Finnish designers, glass has always been a natural material, part of a cultural heritage so deeply embedded that, as they put it, every Finnish designer must work with glass at least once. For Pentagon Design, their collaboration with NUDE is the fullest expression of that conviction.
